What if my transactions are in a currency other than the euro?
You can record a transaction in any currency, but be aware that Earnnest does not yet convert amounts into euros. They are calculated and displayed in their original currency.
Your tax return, however, must be drawn up in euros, converted at the rate on the date of each transaction. If you hold securities in dollars, pounds or Swiss francs, the summary will warn you about this and you will need to convert them yourself before entering anything.
Automatic conversion is planned for a future release.
